Art Works Academy

As a Fine Art Graduate and qualified art teacher I have had over 25 years experience teaching years 3 – 13 (ages 7 – 18). I have taught up to GCSE and A level and was Head of Art at a Secondary school.

I have also taught at a private Prep school where I was Head of Art in charge of teaching years 3 – 8 (ages 7 – 13 years old). I also ran an Art Scholarship class which helps pupils prepare a portfolio of art work suitable to apply for an art scholarship.

 

I now use my years of experience of teaching art to a variety of different ages and create educational and fun classes for children after school. I also offer private tutoring for GCSE and A level art, Scholarship applications or for individual teaching of art.

 

I have combined my passion for art and teaching and developed projects that are both stretching and rewarding so that children can learn the key skills of art whilst learning about art history and gaining confidence and creative techniques that will be life-long.
